Chronicles  is a magnificent wild Japanese RPG that fans will fall head over heels for Xenoblade Chronicles  can best be described as a game that is a powerfully concentrated distillation of all things Japanese anime and gaming culture. Its a game for you who love melodramatic stories about child soldiers pocket philosophical debates about what it means to live and existential crises every twenty minutes. If you are not drawn to characters with big eyes and very long story sequences where you dont play but just watch. Then Xenoblade Chronicles  is absolutely not a game for you.

If on the other hand it is exactly what you are looking for then this is one of the absolute highlights of the genre. The story of the child soldiers who only live  years before being turned to dust and reborn is Phone Number List well told and has enough mystery to carry a game that can easily take  hours to complete. The cast of characters is varied and not overly caricatured to the point of cringing and the British dialect that everyone uses makes the long story sequences more tolerable.



However it is the actual act of playing Xenoblade Chronicles  where into its own. Going into battle against an enemy is a dynamic and active experience. You must constantly be aware of which attacks you have available because you must wait a certain number of seconds before you can use one of your four attacks again. But at the same time you must also remain aware of what the rest of your team is doing and be able to quickly change tactics if a unique opportunity to do extra damage arises.
